Dining
When it comes to dining, you can enjoy the luxury of cooking or grilling your own fish or other meals at the house. In fact, with the home’s stunning ocean and cove views, you won’t want to leave. You have all the necessities for grilling, including a 400+-square foot deck overlooking the water with an amazing view. However if your choice is to go out, there are some fun local options as well as ones in nearby Brunswick (20 minutes), Bath (20 minutes) and Freeport (30 minutes). Fish and lobster are specialties.

Activities in the Area
The Giant Stairs Trail
The Giant Stairs Trail is a project that is maintained by the town of Harpswell and the Maine Conservation Corps. This is a wonderful waking trail that takes you to the Giant Stairs, which are not really stairs but rock formations along the Atlantic Ocean. To get to the stairs and trail, go over the Cribstone Bridge onto Bailey Island for about 1.6 miles. Make a left onto Washington Avenue. Walking there is the best, but if you drive park on left where the road bends and it says parking allowed. You will see a sign that says Giant Stairs. Walk all the way down to the water and make a right onto the trail.
Big Bites Sports Fishing
In-shore and off-shore from June-October.
